Fuel Delivery Service in Plainfield, IL
BJ Towing offers 24/7 fuel delivery in Plainfield, Illinois and the surrounding suburbs. Call (708) 400-3917 with your location and vehicle, and a technician brings enough fuel to get you safely to the nearest gas station.
How fuel delivery works
- Call with your location and whether your vehicle takes regular gasoline or diesel.
- You get the price for the service call before we dispatch.
- The technician arrives, adds enough fuel to reach a station, and makes sure the engine starts and runs.
- If the car won’t restart after sitting empty, we can tow it to a shop on the same visit.
Stay with the car
Plenty of drivers run dry: an inaccurate gauge, a gamble on reaching the next exit, a long stretch of I-55 where the stations are further apart than they look. When the engine coughs and you coast onto the shoulder, don’t set off down a busy road with a gas can. Shoulders are narrow, traffic is fast and drivers don’t expect a pedestrian. Wait with the vehicle and let us bring the fuel to you.
Put the wrong fuel in? Don't start the engine
Diesel in a gas car or gasoline in a diesel truck is a different problem from running out. If you realize it at the pump, don’t turn the key. Starting the engine circulates the wrong fuel through the system and turns a drain-and-flush into a much bigger repair. Call us and we’ll flatbed the vehicle to a shop that can drain the tank.
Electric vehicle out of charge?
An EV at zero percent can’t be refueled on the roadside, but it can be towed. We’ll flatbed it to the nearest charger or to your home. Tell the dispatcher the make and model so the driver uses the correct tow mode.

Fuel Delivery FAQs
How much fuel do you bring?
Enough to get you safely to the nearest gas station. The dispatcher quotes the service call up front; there's nothing added at the roadside.
Do you deliver diesel?
Tell the dispatcher what your vehicle takes when you call and we'll confirm what we can bring to your location.
My car still won't start after you add fuel. Now what?
Running completely dry can expose the fuel pump or let air into the system. If the engine won't catch after a few tries, there's likely another problem, and we'll tow you to a shop rather than keep cranking and risk the pump.
